Follow these easy steps to get your AEG FAVORIT 40740 Dishwasher up and running in no time.
Ensure the dishwasher is transported upright. Check for any transport damage and ensure the voltage and supply type match the appliance's rating plate.
Place the dishwasher on a firm, level floor. Adjust the threaded feet to compensate for any floor unevenness, ensuring the appliance is stable and level.
Connect the dishwasher to a cold water supply. Ensure the safety devices are installed to prevent wash water from returning to the drinking water system.
This appliance must be earthed. Ensure the electricity supply voltage matches the appliance's rating plate. If permanently wired, remove the fuse to isolate from the mains.
Open the dishwasher door and remove the lower basket. Set the hardness range switch to 0 or 1 as per the water hardness level.
Remove the lower basket. Undo the lid on the salt container by turning it anticlockwise. Fill the container with water and salt through the supplied funnel.
Fill the rinse aid dispenser located on the inside of the dishwasher door. Add rinse aid prior to the first use and when the H indicator on the control panel is illuminated.
Turn on the water tap fully, close the dishwasher door, and press the ON/OFF button. Select the desired wash program using the program table.
